Many people think it requires an extensive knowledge of knots. In fact, there a only a few basic knots. Once a few simple standard ties have been mastered, these can quickly be used to build up more erotic and exotic bondage, when used in different configurations. The objective is to stimulate creativity, rather than teach set pieces by rote, and to emphasise that bondage is far more than just a means of restraint.
However, bondage is not without its dangers and it is vital that it is done safely. Even the simplest bondage carries its risks. It is very important to know what you are doing and to be aware of how to avoid accidents. Of course, safety is taken very seriously - be assured that you are in the safest of hands!
The Adult World Erotic Rope Bondage courses are run in London SE5 on a monthly basis from 10:30am until 5:30pm.
Whilst there are some theoretical topics, it is very much a hands-on session. The emphasis is very much on learning by practicing on your partner. Our teacher has developed a methodology for teaching to simplify and accelerate the learning process, whilst encouraging your own style and creativity. The techniques taught will create an experience well beyond that attained through experimentation or studying books. There is much more to bondage than simply a means of restraint. You will learn not only how to create a beautiful result, but also how to maximise the erotic potential.
The courses are open to couples and singles, if you do not come with a partner, you will be paired up with another "student" - class sizes are usually 10 - 12 but always even numbers. We ask that participants wear light and light and unrestrictive clothing (as little as you are comfortable with) - no skirts as they get in the way.
Rope for the classes is provided, although you may bring along your own if you wish.
